Case that is, terrariums are nice additions to a flat for they come in many shapes and sizes and require almost no maintenance making it ideal for the busy flat owner. They come in a variety of types showcasing local or foreign landscapes in terms of plants and their natural beauty. Not much maintenance doesn’t actually mean no maintenance, for you may have to add some water from time to time, but being closed to the outside world encased in glass, they are good at recycling their own nutrients and water. It’s even a good way to teach your kids the water cycle (without the thunderstorm and rain of course). Water that is put into them simply circulates within the enclosure, and you may have to thin down a plant or two from time to time or it will literally become a jungle within the concrete jungle.
Plants always has that allure of what nature stands for where ever you may live, and while most want little to do with them, some can’t agree with them (black thumb’s) there are those who have the touch which makes plants part of their everyday routine. A pot here, a flower pot there, they seem to soothe the soul when it needs it the most allowing you to green your worries away, in the concrete jungle that is the city.
